My discovery of SynthBio through the international competiton iGEM motivated me in pursuing this way for my future, I’d like to make as much experience as I can in this research domain. What seduced me in this lab is the aspect of multidisciplinarity that is inside each project, the consideration of inclusion into a wider solution. By working on the optimal design for an expression promoter, I feel like taking first steps in the creation of a whole pathway to make bioproduction accessible and standardized. Identifying which criterias are essential for expression is key to make custom pathways in various frames, such as lipogenic yeasts.
